New to Horses? So am I!
I’ve only been involved with horses for about one and a half years. So rest assured, I’m learning with you. I built Urban Riders because, from my short time spent in the horse industry, I quickly realized that if you don’t have the right connections, it’s difficult to learn much at all. So, that’s what this platform was made for: learning through connection. I wanted a space where someone with little to no experience could ask questions and learn with like-minded people. I also want to be completely transparent with you on this journey, so I’ll be talking about the process of reaching out to professionals, the story of building the site, and everything in between. Oh, and no AI is writing anything here. Everything is written by a human, for humans 🙂
So What Does the Future Hold for Urban Riders?
Currently, I’m in the process of building a team of professionals to write, record, host, teach, and do anything else to help you and give you the best learning experience possible. To be honest, I’m new at building websites, too, but I’m currently in the process of putting together top-tiered content. Right now, you can check out some of the new blog posts below, and stay in tune for some cool upcoming additions in the next few months. You can look forward to a brand new newsletter, guest blog posts, videos, and a podcast. Not to mention some sparklingly updated social media accounts.
Exploring Our Digital Libray
Equipping you to be better a equestrian
In my process of wanting to learn more, I found that good, reliable research was hard to come by. The problem I ran into was there are so many horse websites out there giving you information, but the sites are riddled with pop-ups, unnecessary ads, and no sources are cited for the claimed information. Now, there’s an increasingly large amount of these programs using AI to write for them. AI should be a tool, not replace creativity. So in our digital library, you can find good, AI-free, reliable research on a multitude of topics all in one place. Articles, PDF files, charts, peer-reviewed research, professional commentators, and so much more without the worry of getting a virus or false information. Want to see a full list of what’s to come?
